2024 In Review

Thank you to all of our KCCCC members for your participation over the past year! The grassy woodlands revegetation project has been a shining example of what we can accomplish when we work together with long term goals. This project will ensure the protection and prevervation of local and endangered flora.

Collaboration between the K4C, local landowners, Goolwa to Wellington Local Action Planning Group (GWLAP) and Hillgrove Resources resulted in a successful $1.3m Native Vegetation Council grant application that has enabled community aspirations to be achieved in the local region well in advance of the timeline for Significant Environmental Benefit payments.

“The one who plants trees, knowing that he will never sit in their shade, has at least started to understand the meaning of life.”
