Kathy Schneider Roberts

Kathy and her husband Peter live on a property a short distance from the mine and maintain some mining heritage buildings, relics and artefacts of the former Straughton mining village. They have a deep interest in history and the preservation of all forms of cultural heritage.

Kathy is an active member of the local Landcare group and sees a strong link between environmental and cultural and heritage matters.

Kathy has a background in commercial and fine arts. Her personal and professional interests extend to developing tourism opportunities as part of a strong and prosperous future for the area.

Kathy brings a positive and creative perspective to the KCCCC with a strong desire to realise real benefits for the community through her involvement. Kathy has been a member of the KCCCC since it was first established in 2007.
